Children's Research Centre
The Children's Research Centre, Trinity College Dublin, is a specialist centre focusing on specific areas of research and evaluation in the lives of children and young people. The Centre is part of the School of Psychology and the School of Social Work and Social Policy. National Institute for Intellectual Disability
The National Institute for Intellectual Disability is based at Trinity College and seeks to promote the inclusion of people with intellectual disability and their families. Formally established in 1998 and previously know as as The National Institute for the Study of Learning Difficulties (NISLD), the NIID works to ensure that the basic human rights of people with intellectual disability are upheld. Social Policy and Ageing Research Centre
The Social Policy and Ageing Research Centre was established in 2005 in response to the need for IIndependent, comparative and policy-relevant research in the area of ageing and new researchers (PhD graduates) equipped to carry out above and to make a long-term contribution to improving the lives of older people in Ireland.
